Neo-Flamenco

Neo-Flamenco is the forward evolution of flamenco technique within a precision-driven progressive ensemble.
I am seeking technically fluent musicians committed to executing composed material with rhythmic discipline and long-term artistic focus.

Neo-Flamenco is the evolving musical language of guitarist and composer Daniel King.

Rooted in flamenco technique and shaped through progressive structure, jazz-influenced harmony, and disciplined ensemble performance, Neo-Flamenco represents a forward movement — not a revival, not a fusion trend, but a deliberate extension of flamenco into modern rhythmic architecture.

This work is built on precision.

Fast-articulation picado technique, complex rhythmic cycles, and tightly structured ensemble interplay define the sound. Electric guitar, bass, drums, and percussion interact within composed frameworks designed for intensity, clarity, and live execution.

Neo-Flamenco is not improvisational by default.
It is written. Rehearsed. Refined. Performed.

The intention is simple:

To carry flamenco’s technical fire into a contemporary progressive setting without diluting its discipline or rhythmic depth.

This is performance music.
It is meant for the stage.
It is meant to be executed with conviction.

Ensemble Development

Neo-Flamenco is currently in active development as a precision performance ensemble.

Musicians with strong technical command, rhythmic fluency, and interest in disciplined ensemble work may request further information regarding participation and material access.
